1. Information we collect
ToolsInu does not currently offer user accounts or automatic on-site payments. When you submit a tool, we collect the product details, website URL, contact email, selected review plan, consent record, and any optional logo you upload. If you email us, we receive the address, message, and information you choose to include.
2. Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website usage. Its default implementation may collect session statistics, approximate location, browser and device information, page interactions, and a client identifier stored in a first-party cookie such as _ga. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or other directly identifying contact details to Google Analytics.
3. How information is used
Analytics information helps us measure traffic, identify useful categories and pages, diagnose technical problems, and improve the directory. Submission information is used to verify products, contact founders, make editorial decisions, prepare approved listings, and administer any requested paid placement. Email correspondence is used to answer questions and maintain necessary business records.
4. Sharing and service providers
Website usage data is processed by Google Analytics. Submission records and uploaded logos are processed by our hosting and storage providers. If a paid request is approved, payment information is handled by PayPal under its own privacy terms; ToolsInu does not collect PayPal passwords or full payment-card details. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and website integrity.
5. Your choices
You can limit analytics collection through browser cookie controls, privacy extensions, or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies or scripts may affect measurement but should not prevent access to the public directory.
6. External links
ToolsInu links to independent AI products. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before creating an account, uploading files, or providing personal or confidential information.
7. Data retention and security
We retain submissions, uploaded assets, correspondence, and operational records only as reasonably needed for editorial review, support, security, legal, and business purposes. You may request deletion of a pending submission by contacting us from the submitted email address. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to this website.
8. Children and international visitors
ToolsInu is a general directory and is not directed to children under 13. Visitors may access the website from countries with different data-protection rules, and service providers may process information in multiple jurisdictions.
